Philadelphia Review: NY Bagel & Deli Shop

It is weird to review a place called NY Bagel & Deli Shop in Philadelphia. I always find it interesting when bagel shops in other cities call themselves “NY”. Let’s be real. These are Philly bagels. By comparing yourself to NY bagels, you already lost. For bagels outside of NY, these were pretty good.

I got a turkey sausage, egg & cheese on an everything bagel. The everything bagel seasoning didn’t have the correct ratio for me. It was missing salt & garlic. I felt like I was eating a sesame & poppy seed bagel. The bagel itself was good, but tasted more like seasoned bread than a bagel. The menu here is extensive. My boyfriend got the Hot Steak Burrito and was impressed. I will definitely be a repeat customer to test out more of their menu items.
