At the end of every blog post, I challenge my readers to do something that will encourage self-growth and learning. This post shares the all challenges from Q1 2023. Find my previous growth challenges linked at the bottom. I tried to organize the challenges into categories and then put them under subcategories of where the original post came from. The categories are:

Self-Growth, Character & Outlook

  • Be the first person in your family to try a new hobby or sport. – Full Post
  • Try to let the weather influence your behavior for a day.  I didn’t adventure outdoors as much in Park City, but the cold inspired me to read several books. – Full Post
  • Choose a different path than everyone else.  Do research for yourself.  If everyone is going there, some of the magic may be stripped away. – Full Post

Make A Change

  • Guess this computer company.  While I am not going to type out their name (yet), I am happy to have my community discuss so my followers can avoid a disastrous experience themselves. – Full Post
  • Figure out how you can be helpful when being a guest at someone’s house.  There is almost never an appropriate circumstance to do nothing.  – Full Post

Adventure & Travel Challenges

  • Plan a mini road trip to somewhere you would have otherwise flown.  The drive and the unique scenery enhance the fun.  – Full Post
  • Allow yourself to change your plans based on updated information.  If you are like me, it may feel unnatural to go against your carefully curated plans.  Well, plans change… or they should sometimes.  There is not one correct way to live life.  The events of each day should impact your decisions for the next – it’s called living.   – Full Post
  • When you are traveling in a group, do not be afraid to adventure on your own if you are the only one who wants to do something. – Full Post
  • When driving to a new airport, research time zones.  Nevada and Utah are different ones!  – Full Post
